When we remember our true nature,
we become transparent and available
for life to dance through us.
Our life becomes a Nobody’s Dance.

“When I look up, I see a vast expanse of bright blue sky through the window, distant mountains capped with a touch of snow, and the last rays of sunlight. I’m sitting at a small square table, typing. I’m wearing three sweaters and two pairs of pants—actually, I’ve got a bodywarmer on too, and there’s a blanket over my legs. It doesn’t get warmer than fifteen degrees in the miellerie, but I feel blessed by the peace, the space, and the magnificent view. The sky is turning pink now.

This morning, I stepped outside into the freezing cold to head to the compost toilet. It was chilly on my backside, but I saw a magical dark blue sky, the silhouette of the mountains, and just one celestial body remaining—Jupiter. Or maybe it was Venus; Ida wasn’t sure either.

I wondered what true luxury is—a warm bathroom or the silence and beauty I get to experience here. A warm bathroom has never moved me to tears.”
