This retreat is led by Zoë Joncheere & Mathilde van Beekhuizen
How do I inhabit my body and mind, the place where I am?
Where is me? And where is you? Where do I need to draw the line? And is that allowed? Necessary? Inspiring?
How do I relate to the house—its various parts—and to the surrounding land? At what moments am I inside, outside, or part of it?
What kind of freedom do I need to be the unique expression of my body and mind? Small, alone, big, together? What does it mean to interconnect? Physical? Spiritual? With the others, with the space of the house, of the land around?
For artists who like to be guided by transpersonal knowing. For spiritual seekers who want to enhance their capacity of observing (inner) landscapes.
The land of Amiglia and its surroundings is our field of exploration. Zoe guides us with her expertise in meditation, Nobody’s Dance and Moving Language. With Mathilde we learn to observe as an artist: to track and map the landscape in unexpected ways, to zoom in and out, to question and to (re-)associate. In the synergy of the two women and the presence of the elements, we deepen our experience of inhabiting who we truly are and find new ways to give expression to that.
The programme will consist of:
Nobody’s Dance morning practice
Daily two hour session guided by Zoe, with non-duality informed practice: dream sharing, meditation, movement, inquiry.
Daily two hour session guided by Mathilde: observing, ‘landscaping’ tracking, drawing, mapping, transforming, interconnecting.
Art & nature based learning
Moving Language
The explorative work is not limited to the sessions but continues as we live together at Amiglia.

7:30 am - 8:30 am
10 am - 12 am
4 pm - 6 pm
Accommodation is full board:

Price:
The basic price is the price to stay at Amiglia as a guest.
Private room: €450/6 nights
Shared room: €330/6 nights
The donation suggestion for the program is €440. We want this retreat to be accessible for those who truly feel called to participate, regardless of their budget. We trust that those who can, will contribute a larger share. To keep prices democratic, and because it is connecting us to each other, your are asked to do one hour of karma yoga a day (cooking, dishes …)
What outcome to expect:
This retreat is not about ‘making nice pieces of art to take home’ - although you will work with an expandable logbook that is yours to keep.
At the end of this retreat you will have enhanced observation and association skills, in the way of an artist. You will simply see more by being more present. You will experience how it feels to inhabit this moment, this body, the place where you are, and thus allow inspiration to find you.
